Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Perform monthly account reconciliations and support timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and file state and local tax filings, including sales and use tax, gross receipts tax, and
• Conduct technical accounting and tax research to ensure compliance with evolving state regulations
• Draft, review, and update accounting policies and procedures to align with GAAP and applicable
• Develop a strong understanding of adjacent finance functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with multi-state tax compliance, including sales and use tax, gross receipts tax, or
• Demonstrated ability to independently research complex accounting or tax issues and implement
• Experience developing or improving policies and procedures in a regulated environment.
• High level of attention to detail, organization, and accountability.
