📋 Description

• Serve as the day-to-day lead on external audit requests — managing the PBC list, timeline, and
• Own product-level cash reconciliations across network payables, customer receivables, interchange
• Investigate reconciliation discrepancies using transaction-level data, document root causes, and
• Review AP and AR activity — payments, employee reimbursements, card issuance, invoicing, deferred
• Prepare and review month-end journal entries — accruals, allocations, reclasses — with adequate
• Back up the Accounting Manager on monthly close to ensure timely, accurate reporting, including

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting with 4+ years in Big 4 and/or on a startup accounting team
• FinTech experience preferred — familiarity with payments concepts (settlement, interchange, funds
• Ability to write basic SQL to retrieve, filter, join, and summarize transactional data, with an
• Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., Claude) and advanced Excel to work through large, complex data
• Experience working directly with auditors on an independent financial statement audit, with working
• Advanced ERP experience (preferably NetSuite) and hands-on AP/AR work, including subledger-to-GL
