Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Own assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely, accurate
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments, supported by appropriate
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations over assigned areas, investigate variances and reconciling
• Analyze financial results and prepare variance analyses to support management reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and related disclosures.
• Maintain effective internal controls and ensure adherence to Korean tax regulations, company

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated ownership of accounting
• Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, and balance sheet
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and a solid understanding of GL, AP, AR, month-end closing, and Korean
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial reporting processes.
• Public accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm, is preferred.
