Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Review customer contracts and create Sales Orders in NetSuite to ensure proper revenue accounting
• Partner with Sales and Legal during contract negotiations to flag non-standard terms, discounting
• Ensure complex sales orders and milestones are accurately billed; prepare, review, and distribute
• Prepare and reconcile deferred revenue, unbilled AR, and commission accrual journal entries
• Review daily transactions related to receivables and customer deposits for accuracy and timeliness.
• Record and review general ledger journal entries; support GL integrity through consistent

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
• 5 years of accounting experience at a global, US-HQ'd company, with demonstrated strength in
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, accrual accounting, and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606
• Proficiency with NetSuite required;.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage competing priorities independently and
• Close attention to detail and analytical rigor in resolving financial discrepancies.
