Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Close processes: monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
• Prepare monthly lender/investor reporting and financial statement packages.
• Record payroll journal entries by subsidiary, account, dept, and location.
• Record quarterly and annual accruals (bonuses/commissions).
• Manage GL impact of employee benefits; coordinate with HR.
• Account for leases under ASC 842: right-of-use assets and liabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting/finance or related major.
• 3-6 years’ experience in accounting and finance operations.
• Strong understanding of internal controls for financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and related accounting issues.
• Experience in financial records maintenance and reporting.
• CPA license or public accounting experience a plus.
