Senior Accountant II

📋 Description

• Own the day-to-day accounting for a complex manufacturing site — inventory, manufacturing costs
• Prepare journal entries, balance-sheet reconciliations, and variance explanations, and deliver
• Support manufacturing cost accounting: standard costs, labor and machine rates, overhead
• Reconcile inventory subledgers to the general ledger and support cycle counts and physical
• Handle fixed assets and capital projects end to end — capital versus expense determinations
• Partner daily with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Corporate Accounting to

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, with 5+ years of accounting
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP with hands-on experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the attention to detail to trace a transaction
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working in an ERP or financial-reporting system.
• Clear written and verbal communicator who can explain accounting requirements in practical terms to
