Senior Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, payroll processing, and
• Lead audit readiness and coordinate the company’s first financial statement audit, including
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account
• Oversee overall tax compliance, including federal, state, local, sales, and payroll taxes, and
• Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the finance function.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, combined with hands-on knowledge of
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and proficiency in financial reporting
• Demonstrated experience managing an audit process, including selection of and interaction with
• Hands-on experience implementing financial systems (AR/AP tools or an ERP) to streamline finance
