Senior Analyst, Finance

📋 Description

• Support the preparation of regulatory reporting on US GAAP, US Statutory, Bermuda Statutory and
• Perform monthly and quarterly closing procedures, including tracking availability of information
• Investigate unanticipated variances, providing timely feedback to source areas to ensure that
• Participate in analytical review of performance of the reinsurance and borrower entities, including
• Support timely planning, preparation and compilation of quarterly and annual financial reports
• Support system enhancements and recommend process/system and automation improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; working towards CPA, CA or other comparable
• 5+ years of relevant work experience; recent experience in life insurance with reinsurance exposure
• Knowledge of US GAAP or US Statutory accounting required; knowledge of Bermuda Statutory and the
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with demonstrated proactiveness, good attention to
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate across all
• Demonstrated experience assessing performance versus prior and expected on an insurance business
