Senior Analyst - Investment Operations Securities Settlements

📋 Description

• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and third-party settlement service providers to ensure timely
• Settle trades and communicate with various parties to resolve any confirmation, matching, and
• Monitor daily failing trades; escalating potential buy-ins and other economically impactful issues
• Coordinate with front office and other support teams, locally and globally, to address trade
• Confirmation / Affirmation of cash and derivatives trades
• Coordinate with various internal teams such as Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Recon teams

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in securities settlements, ideally in an alternative asset management firm
• Knowledge of securities, including corporate bonds, convertible bonds, asset-backed securities, and
• Experience with multiple settlement methods including DTC, Euroclear and Clearstream
• Experience with DTCC products (i.e., CTM and Alert)
• Bloomberg experience
• Understanding of a trade’s lifecycle, including the responsibilities of a custodian/clearing broker
