Senior Associate Packaging Engineer

📋 Description

• Research packaging sustainability, innovation, and trends; develop packaging components supporting
• Recommend and own packaging workstreams to qualify packaging components, tooling, equipment, and
• Develop specifications as part of package development; access, review, modify, or create 3D CAD
• Work with packaging component suppliers to design for manufacturing, apply robust testing plans to
• Participate in and drive packaging engineering design reviews.
• Own packaging line trials and test plans; troubleshoot technical issues, develop risk mitigation

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Packaging Engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial design, materials/chemical
• 3+ years of experience in design, testing, and development of new packaging using various component
• Knowledge of material properties and packaging components such as pumps, closures, bottles, tubes
• Good design and aesthetic eye; experience with decorating techniques and materials on
• Honest, direct, able to articulate and defend technical packaging decisions; strong
• Experience with 2D engineering drawings to define critical-to-quality dimensions; use of
