Senior Backend Engineer, Integrations Tooling

📋 Description

• Own platform initiatives end-to-end: scope, design, build, ship, maintain
• Design new integration infra: services, queues, data pipelines, async workflows
• Lead projects with junior/mid engineers; boost productivity via code reviews
• Identify and eliminate classes of problems rather than patching bugs
• Set technical direction in ambiguous spaces
• Collaborate with IE and adjacent teams to align platform primitives with needs

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend engineering experience
• CS degree or comparable experience
• Experience designing/operating services with concurrency and scale
• Experience with backend platform/infrastructure: services, queues, data pipelines, async processing
• Strong systems design; defend tradeoffs and foresee failure modes
• Autonomous leadership on ambiguous, multi-quarter projects
