📋 Description

• Build and scale high-performance backend systems for the User Platform
• Extend and scale Canva’s microservice backbone
• Design, build, and maintain authentication and user-management components
• Create reusable building blocks for cross-team usage
• Partner with stakeholders to align requirements and timelines
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response

🎯 Requirements

• Strong collaboration and clear communication
• CS fundamentals: concurrency, multithreading, data structures, architecture, design patterns
• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale Java backends
• Problem-solving mindset for complex challenges
• Nice-to-have: Authentication and authorization systems experience
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with SQL and DynamoDB
