Senior Backend Engineer (Media Delivery)

📋 Description

• Build and enhance media transformation engine (resizing, format conversion, video processing) using
• Design and operate services on Kubernetes (EKS): Helm charts, deployments, alerts
• Work on async bulk-processing capabilities: job queues, autoscaling, fairness between customers
• Optimize delivery path and costs with caching and CDN layer (Varnish, HAProxy, CloudFront)
• Participate in code reviews and document designs, decisions, and runbooks

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend and background processing services
• Experience operating services in production on Kubernetes (Helm, monitoring, debugging)
• Solid experience with AWS architecture and infrastructure (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ALB) at scale
• Comfortable with Docker and Linux; ability to read, compile, and debug native code (C++)
• Experience with media pipelines (FFmpeg, codecs, image/video processing) is a plus
• Fluent English
