Senior Backend Engineer, Trust & Safety

📋 Description

• Build detection and monitoring tooling for AML/BSA, KYC/EDD, and sanctions.
• Integrate surveillance platforms (Eventus, Palantir) and audit-grade data pipelines.
• Model and reconcile financial data (FinOps, ledger) for auditability.
• Partner with Compliance and Risk to translate regulatory requirements into systems.
• Build real-time risk decisioning and transaction-monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to keep Trust & Safety integrated with the exchange.

🎯 Requirements

• Backend experience building AML/BSA, KYC/EDD tooling at scale.
• Experience with trade-surveillance platforms (Eventus/Palantir) and data pipelines.
• Modeling and reconciling financial data (FinOps, ledger) for auditability.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Legal to translate regulations into systems.
• Background in risk/fraud or compliance-technology at fintech or crypto exchange.
• Plus: real-time risk decisioning or transaction-monitoring experience at scale.
