Senior Claims Examiner

📋 Description

• Investigate and evaluate complex Employment Practices Liability claims, including coverage
• Establish, document, and execute appropriate claim strategies designed to achieve early, equitable
• Analyze initial claim reports, insurance contracts, legal information, and other technical
• Represent the organization in meetings with management and business partners and participate
• Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, insureds, underwriters, agents, defense
• Use claims technology and systems effectively to monitor, document, and manage caseloads.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; a Juris Doctor (JD) is preferred but not required.
• 2-4 years of experience handling claims of comparable complexity or working in a legal position.
• Previous Employment Practices Liability (EPL) or Financial Lines experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish productive relationships with stakeholders
• Strong aptitude for evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting technical and financial information.
