📋 Description

• Own Elasticsearch at scale: index design, shard strategy, tuning, migrations.
• Collaborate with domain experts to shape tech direction and infra.
• Own infra: write code, automate systems, improve observability and datastore tuning.
• Prioritize agility, scalability, uptime; feature flags drive gradual improvements.
• Contribute across ideation, prototyping, design and implementation.
• Mentor engineers and participate in hiring.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in production distributed systems design/architecture.
• Strong Elasticsearch experience: index design, cluster ops, tuning, migrations.
• Backend tech: MySQL, Memcached, Linux.
• Experience scaling a SaaS product and impacting users worldwide.
• Proven impact on product/teams you’ve worked with.
• Proficient with testing, OO design, data structures, code reviews, observability.
