Senior Corporate Accountant

📋 Description

• Own accounting and reporting activities related to prepaid expenses, goodwill, intangible assets
• Assist with review and analysis related to accounts payable; including credit card and invoice
• Communicate timely and effectively with cross-functional department managers to resolve questions
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and emerging technologies
• Perform in-depth analytical review of department expenses including trend and budget vs actual
• Own assigned month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities including preparing journal

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field.
• Demonstrated understanding of US GAAP including deep understanding of process flows between
• 5+ years accounting experience required; experience managing month-end close activities, preparing
• CPA, preferred.
• 2+ years public accounting experience, preferred.
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
