Senior Counsel, Product Privacy

📋 Description

• Serves as the primary privacy legal advisor for Payments and Insurance processes and products
• Advises on the intersection of privacy law and payments and insurance obligations globally
• Advises Commercial Legal in negotiating commercial contracts with payment processors and insurance
• Acts as a key cross-functional influencer with Payments and Insurance Legal and Privacy Management
• Partners closely with the Lead Counsel, Product Privacy, Privacy Managers, Payments and Insurance
• Monitors and advises on privacy legal and regulatory requirements related to data privacy

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of privacy law experience with depth in financial data privacy, payments, or
• Demonstrated experience advising on global payments or financial services data practices in a B2C
• Experience working across legal, compliance, and commercial functions in a matrixed organization
• Strong understanding of the intersection of privacy law and financial data regulation, including
• Familiarity with insurance data regulatory requirements and how they intersect with global privacy
• Ability to advise on data minimization, legal basis, and transparency requirements for complex
