Senior Customer Engineer, Digital Native Enterprise - New York

📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery, design architectures, and deliver demos/PoCs across Cloudflare portfolio.
• Build technical champions and executive relationships within target accounts.
• Represent Cloudflare at industry events and developer communities.
• Own the technical relationship from contract signature through adoption and expansion.
• Deliver architectural value across the customer lifecycle.
• Report to the Regional Customer Engineering Leader and partner with Account Executives.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of the internet request lifecycle.
• Customer-facing technical role experience (solutions engineering, customer engineering, sales engineering, or forward deployed engineering).
• Broad tech across web security, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Exceptional communication and presentation for engineers and executives.
• AI-native development: AI-augmented workflows for prototyping and delivery.
• Hands-on with Cloudflare's Developer and AI platform: Workers, Workers AI, AI Gateway, Vectorize.
• Applied AI knowledge: prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, RAG architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Go for integration scripts and edge functions.
• Familiarity with CDN, reverse proxy (WAF), forward proxy, and serverless patterns.
• Hands-on experience building cloud-based applications.
• Experience driving technical wins across multi-stakeholder, enterprise accounts.
• Bonus: Cloudflare platform certifications or deployment experience; DevOps or GenAI trend exposure; cloud/security/networking certs.
