Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead client engagements and co-design data engineering solutions
• Build robust, scalable data pipelines and architectures for structured and unstructured data
• Design and implement cloud and distributed computing solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, Spark, Kafka)
• Develop logical and physical data models and optimize databases (relational, NoSQL, time-series
• Implement batch, streaming, and real-time data integration patterns
• Enable CI/CD and DataOps practices for data services and infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• Completed WO Master's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science
• 3-6 years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent academic research)
• Strong analytical mindset with systematic problem-solving abilities
• Fast learner with strong communication skills, adaptability, and entrepreneurial drive
• Fluency in English; Dutch or French fluency is a must
• Proven interest in Data Engineering and sectors such as Energy and Finance
