Senior Data Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate scalable, high-performance data infrastructure
• Take high-level problem statements and architect concrete solutions end to end
• Manage platform infrastructure as code and build self-healing systems
• Build tooling, SDKs, and self-service paths for Data Engineers and AI agents
• Implement optimized data pipeline architectures
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data platform engineering, data infrastructure, or backend software
• Strong proficiency in building performant, concurrent data services and platform tooling
• Deep hands-on experience designing and operating modern data stacks
• Proficient in Terraform or CloudFormation
• Ability to manage and tune relational stores (Postgres/RDS)
• Comfort building a platform that both humans and AI agents consume
