Senior Director - Accounting & Compliance

📋 Description

• Lead the accounting and finance function for the India entity, with responsibility for accounting
• Own the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the monthly financial close, including account
• Lead the transition from outsourced finance operations to a scalable in-house finance model
• Ensure accounting records and financial activities comply with US GAAP, Indian statutory accounting
• Coordinate statutory audits, Registrar of Companies filings, tax registrations, corporate
• Establish and monitor finance policies, close procedures, reconciliation processes, approval

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive professional accounting and finance experience, including ownership of
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including performance management, employee development
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, Indian statutory accounting requirements, and Companies Act
• Proven experience managing international subsidiaries and consolidation activities, ideally within
• Experience with treasury management and multi-currency financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax and regulatory requirements, including GST, corporate income tax
