Senior Director, Individual Giving

📋 Description

• Own and drive strategy for and personally manage and grow a portfolio of 75–100 individual donors
• Develop and execute individualized moves-management strategies guiding donors from identification
• Personally solicit and secure intermediate and major gifts by developing proposals and
• Lead preparation of high-quality proposals and grant reports for family foundations.
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of KIPP NYC's programs and impact.
• Set and lead a year-round donor cultivation and stewardship strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8-10 years of experience in development or advancement with significant experience in
• Demonstrated success managing a donor portfolio, securing major gifts, and developing cultivation
• Demonstrated experience developing donor cultivation and stewardship strategies including events.
• Exceptional strategic, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to operate at multiple levels from strategy to execution.
• Demonstrated track record using data to set strategy and evaluate performance.
