Senior Director of Compute Services

📋 Description

• Define and drive the engineering roadmap for CoreWeave compute products
• Lead and grow engineering teams, including managers and senior ICs
• Own availability, reliability, and performance of security services in production
• Partner with Product Management to translate customer requirements into designs
• Oversee architecture of secure, scalable, auditable systems powering workloads
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, and Customer Experience on enterprise deployments

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years building and operating production software or infrastructure
• 5+ years of engineering leadership, including managing managers and multi-team scale
• Proven track record delivering large-scale compute products at cloud providers, security firms, or major SaaS (AI/ML preferred)
• Experience designing and operating distributed, highly available systems with clear ownership
• Strong understanding of enterprise security (auth, authz, least privilege, encryption, audit logs)
• Experience collaborating with PM and Security/Compliance to prioritize trade-offs and ship capabilities
