Senior Electrical Designer

📋 Description

• Lead electrical system design of a next generation flow battery, working closely with teams
• Technical lead for product certification and regulatory compliance activities throughout the
• Conceive, design, and develop the electrical system architecture of Invinity’s flow battery products
• Develop and maintain design documentation for electrical system components and wiring harnesses
• Perform and oversee electrical safety calculations such as fault current, overprotection
• Develop and participate in other safety-related work items such as DFMEA, hazard analysis, risk

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or similar. P.Eng. (or equivalent) designation is
• 5+ years of relevant experience, with demonstrated technical leadership in the development and
• Experience working with certification bodies, NRTLs, test laboratories, and regulatory agencies
• Able to read, understand, and develop electrical schematics
• Familiarity with insulation coordination, SCCR determination, arc flash analysis, overcurrent
• Skilled in testing and troubleshooting using diagnostic and test equipment, such as multi-meters
