Senior Electrical Engineer, Test Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy custom test equipment used in the electrical testing of battery hardware
• Modify existing designs to accommodate new requirements and test objectives.
• Create electrical schematics to capture complex test system designs including the design of control
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on the physical form factor of test stands, optimizing for
• Ensure electrical equipment designs meet safety, reliability, and compliance standards for
• Document test system designs, usage guidelines, and validation procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems
• 4+ years of experience in electrical design and/or test equipment development (battery or energy
• Proficiency with eCAD tools (Altium, AutoCAD Electrical, E-Plan, etc.)
• Experience designing control panels adhering to UL508A standards.
• Experience specifying electronic test hardware (PLC IO cards, power supplies, circuit protection
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance speed, rigor, and safety.
