Senior Energy Markets Specialist

📋 Description

• Lead energy-market coverage for ORIT, including route-to-market performance, revenue strategy
• Build OEGEN’s BESS commercial strategy across priority markets, including revenue underwriting
• Provide senior market input into investment decisions, challenging assumptions on power prices
• Develop clear standards and guidance for BESS and collocated assets, ensuring lessons from
• Lead or oversee complex commercial processes, including optimiser, route-to-market and strategic
• Monitor energy-market, regulatory and policy developments across OEGEN’s priority markets

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience in European power markets, renewable energy commercialisation, trading
• Strong practical experience of BESS commercial strategy, including revenue modelling
• Experience working for, or advising, a renewable IPP, fund manager, utility, trading house
• Excellent commercial judgement, with a track record of challenging and improving market
• Strong understanding of renewable revenue drivers, including PPAs, merchant exposure, hedging
• High financial and numerical acumen, with the ability to build, review and challenge complex
