Hands-on Senior Engineer in Xero's Reporting team, owning work end to end.
Own reporting initiatives from design to rollout, validation, and improvement.
Build customer-facing reporting experiences with clarity, usability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and platform teams.
Modernise parts of the reporting platform and improve developer experience.
Write high-quality, maintainable code; mentor others and contribute feedback.

🎯 Requirements

Strong experience in backend, platform, or product engineering in SaaS with scale.
Track record of owning features or initiatives end to end.
Solid systems thinking and engineering judgement with autonomy.
Experience building data-heavy or analytics use cases; performance and correctness.
Comfortable with ambiguity; able to create clarity for others.
Hands-on with code quality, testing, production readiness; strong communication.
