📋 Description

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain robust backend systems, taking ownership of solutions
• Develop automation capabilities that help merchants manage payment disputes at scale, including
• Expand dispute management coverage across the broader payment network by integrating additional
• Collaborate with third-party fraud prevention providers, including Riskified, Forter, Signifyd, and
• Design and implement native risk management capabilities, including velocity rules, blocklists
• Work closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to translate

• Proven experience owning backend systems end to end, from architecture and development through
• Strong software engineering and system design skills, with the ability to design scalable backend
• Experience building systems from scratch, defining technical approaches, and taking ownership of
• High standards for code quality, testing, reliability, and operational excellence
• A proactive, delivery-focused mindset, with a track record of shipping improvements frequently
• Experience mentoring engineers, supporting colleagues' technical development, or helping establish
