Senior Engineer - Networking

📋 Description

• Work with Product Management to accept and refine requirements for new network inventory and
• Troubleshoot and mitigate MySQL and Python performance issues found in the Skylar One platform
• Take ownership of, including providing feedback, of how the product presents Network Topology to
• Implement new feature work in Python, PHP, and MySQL, using accepted coding practices that product
• Independently reach out and assist teammates in completing sprint work

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information
• 8+ years of software development experience in Python, including maintaining highly-scalable
• 6+ years using Linux
• 3+ years of MySQL experience, including analyzing queries for optimal performance
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, switching
• VLANs, firewalls, load balancing
