📋 Description

• Lead the evolution of core database and SQL capabilities for AI/agentic workloads alongside
• Grow and mentor a highly parallel, fault-tolerant SQL database team.
• Translate product requirements into engineering work and align with PMs.
• Collaborate with global teams across Engineering and Product Management.
• Deliver complex projects with high quality while fostering innovation and practical decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years building and operating large-scale systems (distributed systems, databases, cloud
• 5+ years leading teams to build database internals (experience leading managers is a plus).
• Strong fundamentals; query processing experience preferred.
• Exposure to AI/ML or agent-driven workloads and data platforms.
• Proven track record recruiting and leading technical teams; strong communication skills.
• Experience authoring roadmaps, project plans, and RCAs.
