Senior Engineering Manager, AI Product (Thunderbolt)

📋 Description

• Lead engineering execution: priorities, ownership, timelines, risks, and quality.
• Manage engineers and contractors; coach, give feedback, and develop the team.
• Stay close to the codebase: contribute, review, evaluate tradeoffs.
• Partner with product and leadership to turn AI strategy into engineering plans.
• Establish planning, review, release, and follow-through practices.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, docs, reliability, security.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of software development, incl. senior leadership.
• 5+ years managing technical teams, incl. senior engineers.
• Track record shipping polished, top-tier products.
• Ability to translate ambiguous direction into clear plans and ownership.
• Technical fluency with AI-enabled products: LLM, RAG, agents, on-device AI.
• Experience delivering cross-platform apps with Tauri, Electron, React Native.
