Senior Engineering Manager, Mortgage

📋 Description

• Own the technical roadmap and architecture for the Mortgage platform and partner with product
• Own delivery for the Mortgage business line, and partner with the business's leadership as a peer
• Set the technical direction for the team, reduce technical debt, and scale the architecture
• Represent engineering in annual strategy planning, including capacity modeling, headcount planning
• Manage quality incidents as both technical lead and communication lead
• Hire and continually raise the bar for engineering talent, and mentor team members in a way that

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years as an engineering manager and 12+ years as an engineer overall, including experience
• Experience owning a P&L or business line, including revenue targets, capacity planning, and
• Deep understanding of service architecture, system design, and lean software development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical strategy into business
• Experience with machine learning and AI, and enthusiasm for working in an AI-native company where
• Humility, openness to feedback, and eagerness to learn
