Senior Financial Accountant

📋 Description

• Own the month end and year end close against the group close calendar, preparing journals, accruals
• Support group consolidation across our entities, including intercompany reconciliations
• Support technical accounting assessments, ad hoc finance projects and the development of group
• Manage the PBC list and audit request tracker, and support the wider external audit process
• Support preparation of the UK statutory financial statements and, alongside external advisors
• Own process improvement and automation across the function, documenting changes as you build them

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 1-2 years of PQE
• Solid grounding in financial reporting and controls, built through practice, industry or a
• Comfortable with close and consolidation work, journals, reconciliations, intercompany eliminations
• Excellent communication skills to build trust with auditors, external advisors and internal
• Curious about automation and AI for financial process improvement
• NetSuite experience or comparable ERP
