Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Applied AI

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end enterprise AI engagements on Cortex AI team
• Own AI quality metrics, evaluation frameworks, and production reliability
• Mentor a team of 2–6 Applied AI Engineers
• Design and ship scalable ML pipelines and agentic AI solutions
• Produce guardrails, observability, and human-review workflows for safety
• Travel to customer sites as needed (≥25%)

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proven track record leading technical projects/teams
• Experience building production apps with LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows
• Ability to define quality metrics and evaluation frameworks for AI
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and work in a customer-facing role
