Senior Foundations Officer

📋 Description

• Manage an assigned portfolio of foundation funders and prospects, including engagement plans
• Cultivate strong relationships with program officers and serve as the primary day-to-day contact
• Develop stewardship and renewal strategies that strengthen relationships and create opportunities
• Prepare funder briefings and meeting materials, coordinate internal participants, and ensure timely
• Research, qualify, and advance new foundation prospects aligned with organizational priorities and

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in foundation relations, institutional
• Demonstrated experience in foundation fundraising, including cultivation, solicitation, reporting
• Excellent persuasive writing and editing skills, with experience developing proposals, concept
• Ability to synthesize complex policy, advocacy, research, or systems-change work into clear and
• Strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), disciplined data management.
