Senior Frontend Engineer - Editing Accessibility (RELOCATE to Sydney)

📋 Description

• Design and build accessible Editor interactions (focus, keyboard nav, ARIA)
• Use screen readers daily to test, debug, and validate features
• Collaborate with Editing Group to build accessible features from the start
• Identify systemic accessibility gaps and architect fixes

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience building accessible web apps with WCAG in practice
• Hands-on experience with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS) and debugging
• Ability to work in a large frontend codebase; understand components, state, rendering and accessibility
• Strong TypeScript and React skills; comfortable reasoning about components and accessibility
• Clear cross-disciplinary communication; explain screen reader behavior to engineers and constraints to designers
