Senior General Ledger Accountant

📋 Description

• Support daily accounting operations and contribute actively to the monthly and quarterly financial
• Consolidate and report monthly financial information across multiple entities, campuses, and
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records, prepare journal entries, and ensure proper
• Perform regular account reconciliations, review balance sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies
• Conduct month-over-month and budget-versus-actual variance analyses, identifying unusual
• Collaborate with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to improve budgeting practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in an
• Previous Big Four or comparable public accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
• Proven experience managing general ledger activities, preparing journal entries, performing balance
