Senior Infrastructure Engineer, SRE

📋 Description

• Building and improving the reliability and resiliency of systems and services
• Establishing SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical services and user journeys
• Owning and evolving disaster recovery strategy: recovery objectives, failover and restore paths
• Partnering with product engineering teams to enable ownership of their services
• Evolving observability platform and standards across metrics, tracing, and logs
• Strengthening incident practice: tuning paging thresholds, keeping runbooks current, and postmortem

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud or infrastructure engineering experience, with substantial reliability
• Defined SLIs and SLOs for production services
• Hands-on experience with an observability platform in production (Datadog strongly preferred)
• Proficient in writing code (Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar) for internal tooling, debugging
• Production Terraform and AWS expertise with ability to troubleshoot production issues
• Experience building or operating disaster recovery plans and running drills
