Senior Interaction Designer

📋 Description

• Design detailed interaction patterns, user flows, and interface behaviours for complex digital
• Create high-fidelity prototypes to communicate interaction logic, validate design decisions, and
• Define micro-interactions, system states, validation patterns, and edge cases to ensure robust user
• Apply and extend design systems, including the GOV.UK Design System, contributing reusable
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet
• Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards and responsive design principles

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience designing interactions for complex digital products and services in Agile
• Expertise in creating high-fidelity prototypes and interaction models using tools such as Figma
• Proven ability to design scalable, reusable patterns within design systems
• Experience working with, or alongside, the GOV.UK Design System or similar established design
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles, including usability, feedback, and system
• Familiarity with modern front-end approaches, including component-based development and JavaScript
