Senior Laboratory Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert for laboratory automation systems, including liquid handlers
• Troubleshoot instrument, software, and workflow issues to minimize downtime.
• Develop, implement, and optimize automated laboratory methods and processes.
• Support instrument qualification, computer system validation (CSV), calibration, maintenance, and
• Analyze system performance data and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Train and support laboratory personnel on automated systems and best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or related field
• 6+ years of industry experience supporting laboratory automation, robotics, or regulated lab
• Hands-on experience with automated liquid handling systems (Hamilton, Beckman, Tecan, or similar)
• Strong troubleshooting skills for automated instrumentation, software, and workflows
• Experience with system validation, qualification, and change control
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
