Senior Laser Specialist - Test & Launch

📋 Description

• Perform dimensional inspections and tooling builds using Verisurf and laser trackers.
• Support installation, alignment, and calibration of tooling and launch infrastructure.
• Conduct best-fit alignments, datum re-establishment, and profile analyses.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality on build strategies and tolerance studies.
• Execute precision drilling, dowelling, epoxy pours, and leveling for tooling.
• Prepare dimensional reports and ensure safety/compliance in production.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years with laser trackers or aerospace metrology; 5+ years with Verisurf X.
• GD&T interpretation, engineering drawings, and model-based inspection.
• Setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of metrology equipment.
• Fixture installation, leveling, and alignment of complex tooling.
• Travel up to 20% annually; CAD/CAM or Mastercam helpful.
• Field alignment experience and OSHA/MSHA certs a plus.
