Senior Lawyer - Venture Financings

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for founders, venture capital funds, and their respective
• Review and negotiate financing documents — SAFEs, convertible notes, and NVCA-form Stock Purchase
• Supervise and mentor paralegals through complex early-stage financing transactions — SAFEs
• Develop and evolve deal playbooks and negotiation parameters, alongside the MD, across company- and
• Build and deepen trusted relationships with founders, venture funds, accelerators, and outside
• Support business development by contributing to new client pitches alongside the Growth team

• Experienced in ECVC law: strong background in early-stage financings — SAFEs, convertible notes
• Client-focused and commercially minded: build strong relationships with founders, venture capital
• A natural leader and mentor: experience supervising paralegals, and can manage team output across
• Detail-driven and execution-focused: prioritize effectively, handle competing deadlines, and do not
• Tech-savvy: comfortable working with AI-backed legal tools and curious about the role of technology
• Licensed to practice in California or a comparable jurisdiction; 7+ years of relevant experience
