Senior Legal Counsel

📋 Description

• Own technology transactions end-to-end, such as SaaS, software licensing, software development
• Drive internal compliance initiatives on topics such as privacy, open source, marketing, export
• Take a lead role in M&A, overseeing due diligence and driving post-acquisition integration.
• Advise on intellectual property, open source, data protection and similar topics.
• Manage legal entities across our global jurisdictions.
• Manage outside counsel relationships around the world.

🎯 Requirements

• Active member in good standing with Law Society of Ontario.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in a top-tier law firm or corporate legal department in
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating technology-related agreements, including software
• Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to support fast-paced
• Knowledge of data privacy requirements and experience with data protection agreements.
