Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial Legal (APAC)

📋 Description

• Act as the primary legal advisor to our APAC sales teams, providing timely and practical legal
• Lead live negotiations with customers and their counsel on strategic and enterprise deals
• Serve as the Legal Primary DRI for APAC under Remote's Legal Matter Framework
• Provide additional legal support to other regions as bandwidth permits
• Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to structure and review
• Develop and improve templates, playbooks, processes, and other knowledge resources around

🎯 Requirements

• Proven expertise supporting commercial transactions, particularly enterprise-level SaaS agreements
• Qualified to practise in an APAC jurisdiction. English is our working language; additional APAC
• Demonstrated comfort operating across multiple APAC jurisdictions and legal traditions
• Strong commercial drafting skills, with the ability to craft clear, precise, and enforceable
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop creative, practical solutions
• Experience with enterprise deals conducted on the customer's paper—customer MSAs, bespoke terms
