Senior Machine Learning Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the full lifecycle of ML models: feature generation, training, validation, deployment, serving
• Cut infrastructure cost while improving pricing accuracy, especially on high-value assets
• Iterate underwriting model to maximize cash advance disbursements without breaching risk thresholds
• Manage AWS infrastructure and pricing APIs for models — capacity planning, autoscaling, latency
• Design and run backtests to find and validate features that move predictive power and coverage
• Work with Expert Pricers to ensure model changes reflect market judgment

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years engineering, 5+ years building and shipping production ML/AI models
• Production-grade Python and SQL, custom feature-engineering pipelines (e.g., time-decay weighting
• Gradient-boosted or ensemble estimators trained against strict accuracy tolerances with
• LLMs and foundation models in production for internal tooling and user-facing product
• MLflow or comparable experiment tracking and model registry/versioning
• Production model-serving on AWS: capacity planning, autoscaling, diagnosing memory and timeout
