Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – zOS and ISV

📋 Description

• Perform standard system programming activities like configuration, installation & maintenance
• Support other team: storage management, performance tuning, capacity planning, security
• Work with Mainframe System Programmers staff across tracks to enhance the mainframe environment
• Participate in software (ISVs and zOS) deployments and various support functions as defined by the
• Possess interpersonal skills needed to foster good relations with business and development users
• Assist team members to solve problems, make innovative improvements and make decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional work experience as a Mainframe System Programmer in zOS & ISVs
• Expertise in performing SMP/E and Non-SMPE Installation of ISV products
• Operating system z/OS upgrades workflow execution
• JES3/JES2 initialization
• Sysplex and config management (good to have)
• Fluent in JCL and IBM Utilities (IEBGENER/IEBCOPY/AMASPZAP/DFDSS)
