Senior Manager, Packaging Development

📋 Description

• Own packaging development from concept and feasibility through tooling, qualification
• Translate creative direction and product requirements into packaging solutions that balance
• Lead technical feasibility assessments, evaluating materials, component construction, dispensing
• Establish packaging specifications, critical dimensions, tolerances, and performance requirements
• Lead packaging risk assessments and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), partnering with
• Evaluate test results, recommend technical solutions, and resolve packaging issues throughout

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in packaging development or packaging engineering, including
• Demonstrated expertise across color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance packaging, with an
• A track record of independently leading complex packaging programs from concept through
• Strong technical knowledge of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging materials, manufacturing
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, dimensional tolerances, tooling designs
• Working knowledge of packaging qualification methods, including compatibility, functionality
