Senior Manager, Payments Risk

📋 Description

• Owning the operating system (people, processes, technology) that supports a scalable and balanced
• Managing merchant risk policy, including onboarding criteria, verification standards, how
• Developing and owning Jane's stated risk appetite in partnership with Legal, Finance and the VP.
• Owning portfolio losses and the risk reporting pack, including loss rate, approval rate
• Setting transaction monitoring strategy, including transaction rules, risk flags, review process
• Leading dispute strategy and win rate to improve win-rates for customers and prevent disputes.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in payments risk, ideally having held a leadership or highly cross-functional role.
• Experience in embedded payments at a software platform that carries liability.
• Expertise in payments, including working knowledge of acquiring, underwriting, chargebacks and
• Comfortable with Stripe, especially Connect, or a comparable platform, with a clear view of its
• Ability to write policies that people follow and to explain hard decisions to clinic owners with
• Strong data skills to build own reporting, with experience in SQL or Stripe Sigma being a plus.

🎁 Benefits

• Annual salary range of $156,000 to $253,500 USD.
