Senior Manager, Systems Engineering

📋 Description

• Oversee a team responsible for designing, building and scaling global cloud infrastructure systems
• Own the deployment, management and support of systems for the Canadian sovereign cloud running on
• Lead the engineering team for definition, configuration, delivery, and validation of compute across
• Work with Product and Program management to define and communicate the team's external commitments
• Facilitate engineering team autonomy by assisting with project planning, prioritization, Agile
• Support growth of engineers via hiring, goal setting, development of individual development plans

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes
• 12+ years' experience leading systems/software development and engineering, release management and
• People management experience, and of a technical operations team such as DevOps
• Deep technical fluency in public cloud, infrastructure automation, DevOps practices and software
• Proficient with the components of infrastructure including public cloud, OS, linux, virtualization
• Public cloud experience running production services at scale: (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
